Maria Lira is the founder of Qi Acupuncture Clinic. She has been practicing acupuncture and working with pregnancy for over 10 years. She is a member of  the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association (AFPA - 8701), and she is fully insured in Ireland.

Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, our service is available to patients who would feel more comfortable speaking with Maria in any these languages. 

Maria is a qualified physiotherapist since 2009 with a post graduate in Orthopedics/Traumatology and Pilates training. Her Physiotherapy degree is recognised by Coru in Ireland.

She is an expert in chronic pain management, sports rehabilitation and elderly care.  Also Doula certified in Ireland.

Her focus is always to tailor to the unique needs of the patient. She provides  a bespoke treatment plan for each of her patients to meet their set goals. 

Maria believes that caring for mental and emotional health is an essential part of a healing process; she creates a safe, supportive environment where patients feel truly listened to and understood. 

Maria divides her time between Kells Physiotherapy Clinic Co. Meath and her own practice in Navan, Co. Meath.
